I am currently with an orange, but I have lots of orange memories!

I got one for me and one for my dad when they first came out, and our favourite thing was to each wear ours to our local coffee row.

It’s not clear ANY orange cat has the one brain cell, and yet every orange cat is smarter than this lot.

The worst example I can recall was a PhD nurse who’d done recent MBA. hired at an executive director level into an internal support division. Absolute nightmare of “why aren’t we making other units do this themselves”. Because they don’t know how, we do, and it’s central to our service mandate?

That’s a fireplace that Means Business! Awesome.

Solar panel “shade covers” on every giant mall parking lot.

I feel like he’s gonna learn that governing a nation is quite different than governing that nation’s bank, and that difference starts with small inconveniences <sarcasm> like the constitution.

That would also be cute, even though critters eating my carefully nurtured small garden does get my dander up.

I’m picturing dozens of people in harnesses and ropes and climbing gear, hanging at all levels on a kaiju size corn plant, with big harvest baskets going up and down. If you just tossed them all down you’d just have corn soup at the bottom. And the occasional concussion.

Yeah, corn does not exactly have a deep, solid root system. Wind around skyscrapers? CORNADO!!

Any team or organization I ever worked with/for went noticeably downhill when an MBA manager was hired. Environment, health, human services, housing, cooperatives, refugee support. A sector professional who had added MBA was inevitably a disaster somehow.

I hate when this happens. It’s just demoralizing, and nothing really huge to rage against. Just a slow sad realization.
November 22, 2025 at 5:16 PM
At least a couple of my local favourites had a mgmt change and have done this and it’s sad and I know they’re just on life support. And I can’t help them. And why is it so often shitty local people with lots of $$ doing the dance? Like, leave the menu alone, you don’t need the extra 2% maybe margin

Show me uninvited dick in any sort of public washroom setting, I’m applying knees, shoes, whatever.
November 22, 2025 at 5:10 PM
Hoo boy same. Demand to see my - or anyone’s - genitals out in the world? I *will* make you regret it. Show yours in some attempt to “prove” something? I will apply footwear, knees, whatever.
November 22, 2025 at 5:08 PM
And they don’t seem to realize that only works for a couple of quarters. Regulars stop coming because the food isn’t good anymore, not enough new diners -word about poor food gets around - and then your margins are gone again.

In with the 🙋🏻‍♀️ third.

I mean, there was a whole giant thread of very roumd cats on here just, like, yesterday. Very few things are perfect spheres, but there’s still lots of perfect round/roumd.

I was lucky enough to have all 4 grandparents, and they were all farm folks which isn’t always a long-lived profession.
