I’ve been in reunion for 33 years, since I was 21. I told my mom she has to live an extra 21 years to make up the time we lost.

This is so true. I reunited with my mom when I was 21. She adopted me back in….2012? The connection I have with that family, is through the contact and relationships over the last 34 years. On my birth father’s side? Nothing. We are FB friends and that’s it. Never met, no connection.

Yes! If I started in English, they’d just stare. If I then switched to terrible French, they’d respond very nicely in English. 😂

That whole plot line IS TERRIBLE. When it comes up, my kept husband and I scream at the TV and then fast forward through it. 😡
