Billionaires are pressuring Trump and GOP to not negotiate - they thought No Kings protests were a joke and Dems would fold this week - NOT happening! Polls show increasing support for Democrats. GOP needs to think about their constituents and the upcoming midterm elections. Dems - hold the line!

Reagan also valued the role of immigration in maintaining a strong economy and democracy. Just another example of how far the current Republican Party has fallen from its core values and beliefs.

In “normal” times, I would agree with you. However, these are not normal times. Farmers - and every Trump supporter - need to fully experience the natural consequences of their vote. Period. It is, I believe, the only reason MTG now opposes Republicans on the shutdown. They must feel the pain.

Got it - not quite the statewide impact the commenter had implied since I-5 essentially runs the length of the state. Good to know for those in the San Diego area, however.

I haven’t seen or heard anything about I-5 being closed this weekend. Please share your source.
