This is how two marine biologists celebrate a long day's work securing 3000 baby corals on ropes (the "coral nursery") to grow till they're big enough to plant out on the reef. This little island has exceptional biodiversity because of active management efforts. 2 days ago they were clearing snails.

Spent today reading this and thinking how aesthetics informs our choice of scientific theories. It’s based mostly on physics but when I asked ChatGPT to apply the same ideas to social science theories, it did a pretty good job.
