Back in ALX after a whirlwind trip across Nepal for my brother's wedding. Tough returning to reality after a fever dream of temples, giant mountains, bazaars, momos, and wild elephants and rhinos out the window.

I studied banjo for several years with Steve Attix, the owner of the Del Ray School of Music on Mt. Vernon. Was gutted to learn that Steve is currently battling cancer and that they're struggling to keep the business afloat.
Bummed that I'm out of town for this benefit, but hope others can attend

627 N. West Street is a townhouse in a neighborhood that's almost exclusively townhouses, on a busy intersection across from a Metro stop.

I got in way over my head building a deck at the cabin which has set us back sailing-wise this season, but we did make it out on an overnight to Annapolis last week.

I can think of a few on-street parking lanes that could be converted to bike lanes pretty easily.
