Hitman, by Seo Kouji. A #manga about a manga editor, working for one of the most famous magazines of Japan, and his efforts in making his authors achieve success.
Both the plot and characters were very shallow, and the one interesting character (Katsuragi) was destroyed in the end.

Plinivs, by Tori Miki and Yamazaki Mari. Amazing historical manga, depicts the world of Ancient Rome around 2000 years ago, and tells the story of the natural historian Plinivs the Elder. In between many political plots to dethrone Nero, we learn a lot about the world, nature and history. #manga

Sousou no Frieren, by Yamada Kanehito (Story) and Abe Tsukasa (Art). Finally decided to read it. Beautiful story, and there is still a lot of universe to be explored. I really like the characters introduced in the last arc. I hope it comes back from hiatus soon. #manga

I've just read some Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei adaptations to manga. The Raihousha-hen, Koto Nairan-hen, Ichijou Masaki Tenkou-hen and Nankai Soujou-hen. As a light novel reader, there were no surprises, but it is nice to remember some of the plot points. Will read the rest, for sure.

The Greatest Estate Developer, by Moon Back-kyung (Story) and Kim Hyunsoo (Art). In another world, he uses his engineering expertise to develop his territory and get rich. But everything and everybody get in his way. Really fun to read.

The Rebirth of a Tyrannical Empress, by Miraenavi (Story) and Sanyang (Art). Another “Isekai-Villainess” type manhwa, set in a fantasy world where the main character is the empress, facing her imminent execution. The story is shallow and drawn out.

Cheolsu Saves the World, by Gajjagwahakja (Story) and Soosun (Art). Really good! A mix of time travel and apocalypse, where the main character keeps trying to save the world from a weird asteroid. Very creative, with the right amount of abstraction.

Lady Evony, by Jaya (Story) and Neida (Art). A story of female empowerment where the female protagonist can't do anything without the help of her man. It's on hiatus, so it could still improve before the end.

The Great Wish, by Haneul Garigi (Story) and Narae (Art). Beautiful art, and a nice story. A bit of a rushed ending, but it's usually like this on fantasy manhwas.

The Savior's Book Café Story in Another World, by Izumi Kyouka (Story) and Sakurada Reiko (Art). Very simple story, short. But an interesting take on the isekai trope. The art is really nice, but I don't recommend if you are looking for a convoluted plot.

Grashros, by Kaneshiro Muneyuki (Story) and Fujimura Akeji (Art). A 30000 years old story about Akuu, a cursed child who lost everyone he cared about, and his path to get his revenge against the grash, the beast.

Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu: Mou Hitori no Seijo, by Ao Agu (Story & Art). It's a spin-off of the light novel, showing the day-to-day life of the so called 'other saint', Misono Aira. It does a good job in presenting the story that we don't see when Reading the novel.

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Shizoku Kaigi-hen, by Satou Tsutomu (Story) and Takeda Hazumi (Art). A somewhat okayish adaptation, just like the other ones. I could not feel the same level of drama from the respective LN volume, but that was expected. At this point, I've read just for completionism.

I Became the Villain's Mother, by Yulji (Story) and Iro (Art). A 'summoned into your favorite novel' kind of story. Lot's of time skips, weird progression, simplistic characters and deplorable world building. There's also some fan service near the end. There are better things to read, for sure.

The Beginning After the End, by TurtleMe. It begins as an amalgamation of unorganized ideas, but it gets good with the development of the story and world building. The art is good, and the story is interesting. Looking forward to keep reading.

Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu, by Oda Tomohito. Nice and fun story about a girl who has trouble communicating and making friends. It was really nice in the beginning, but it was dragged way to much. Around 400 less chapters and it would be good.

The Villainess Lives Again, by Han Mint (Story) and Peachberry (Art). I quite like the story, about a woman who lived for her brother's success and was betrayed by him. She gets to do things different after awakening two years in the past.
Well executed manhwa.

The Beloved Little Princess, by Saha (Story) and Dol-dae (Art). The powerful high mage ends up reborn as the princess of Hyperion, with two psychotic-killer brothers and a war-hungry father. The climax was awful, I expected something way better for the ending.
February 11, 2025 at 11:33 PM
The Soulless Duchess, by Jin Saeha (Story) and Han Jinseo (Art). It uses the idea of summoning magic in an interesting way, but the story as a whole is not that good. The usual time travel with magic and love.
January 21, 2025 at 3:17 PM
My Secretly Hot Husband, by Jungyeon (Story) and Harara (Art). The art is beautiful, but the story feels all over the place and confusing. Honestly, there are better things to read out there.
January 17, 2025 at 11:51 AM
A Returner's Magic Should Be Special, by Yu, So-nan (Story) and Uk-jakga (Art). A good story beautifully drawn. The fights are really good, and the whole story is well developed. The characters are likable. If you're in for a medium-sized manhwa, I recommend it.

The Return of the 8th Class Mage, by Ryu Song (Story) and Tess (Art). Manhwa about a very powerful mage who is betrayed by the king, his best friend. He then gets reincarnated in the past, with all the knowledge of what will happen. I call this genre 'revenge reincarnation'.
January 3, 2025 at 11:03 AM
Natsu no Zenjitsu, by Yoshida Motoi. The story of Tetsuo, an art student, and Akira, who is always watching him handle his art. Beautifully drawn, it's a romance with some twists and a unexpected end.
December 22, 2024 at 7:34 PM
Kouya no Hanayome, by Murayama Kei. The time is the stone age, and is time for Mururu, the only male in the tribe, to find a bride. Just like that, the adventures of the women warriors begin. If you've read Centaur no Nayami you'll like it, it's from the same author.
December 22, 2024 at 1:25 AM
Futari Ashita mo Sorenari ni, by Suzuyuki. Short chapters, easy and fast to read. It's about a couple living together, and the little things that follow.
