Sooo, yeah. I like to keep busy. But i have had a shift in mindset. I only work on projects that exist only to benefit mysel now. After years of creating art for others, it's time to come home. As i allow myself to bounce around instead of focusing on clients and expectations, i feel more f r e e.

Speaking of ongoing projects. A major breakthrough occurred this week with my 8 ft snake painting. A richness now begins to emerge... I feel inspired to work on it again because of that.

Ongoing project... This "sun dress" I'm working on. It was a thrift store find, David bridals dress with tags still on it. I have been swaying back towards fiber arts lately. The dress looks surprisingly elegant while worn, so that encourages me to continue.

Also finished - this chiffon rectangle skirt with about a million french seams. I think i get the concept- i didn't have to commit myself to this many seams, but here we are lmao. I don't have pics of me wearing it but it feels really luxurious and fancy.

French seams take forever but they feel so luxurious. Worth the extra ironing.
