Thanks for sharing the article, good read. Have you made a mandala? I did with flower petals this summer and was difficult to see it go. And it did maybe help some with letting go and enjoying the impermanence.

I think we owe an apology to every storyteller whose fictional villains were poo-poo’d for being too obviously evil and yet getting away with their villainy in story because the masses didn’t want to hold them accountable.

I've been going to more meetups and contributing little things like bringing an airpot of tea. Planning a larger garden this year to grow more nutritious food to share. Attempting to organize more crafting gatherings. Checking in on folx and listening too.

The groups that insta has are definitely a draw for me still. You're right though, if we were all here. The difference in tech isn't as much of a big deal if people were here. There are many makers and small businesses too that seem extra resistant to coming here and starting over with followers.
