It was a rugged all day ride there and back from camp.
Covered nearly 50 miles of backcountry forest roads relying on Gaia GPS.
I stumbled across USFS camps, abandoned cabins, remote campers, and even retraced the steps of the 2nd Powell expedition.
One of the greatest rives I've ever ridden.

This is a remote spot along the less visited North Rim, at a place where the canyon is in National Forest land, not the national park.
So I was able to get this vista for free & all to myself.

A year ago today I rode to the edge of the Grand Canyon and saw the most beautiful view I've ever seen.
