I feel management need to own this. Attack was blunt and unimaginative. Didn't adapt to the free for all at breakdown. Should have filled the leadership void earlier. Definitely left a win behind. But huge credit to Scotland for dogging it out.

I didnt doubt the integrity of your comment I was merely stating that we have only played five games in this particular competition. Over the course of a season our lineout is very much our Achilles heel. Consistently failing us at key points.

No, I am saying 5 games versus 19 games and our lineout would be bang average at best. That was shambolic today. No other word for it. More worryingly we never even found a workaround with it.

It may well have been in Europe but not a chance overall games this season is it even close to being elite.

I agree we didn't lose the game because of him but I can't help but feel he was out of his depth here. Caught in possession a number of times. Nothing changes he could still be a great payer. We dominated for 15 minutes at the start and needed someone to unlock the defence. It wasn't Sam.

The worst performance I can recall. Some horrendous basic errors. One wonders what our new coach thinks when he watches that.

Couldn't agree more with this. Sam has huge potential. But right now Jack is a much more complete player.
