It can only produce boring, generic stuff that appeals to basic tastes - people who'd never hire an actual artist anyway.
It is incapable of originality as it can only try to replicate.
Original, interesting and consistently-stylised art will always require a person.

Mmm, but then it wouldn't be entirely random and it's already pretty complicated to organise. Plus, it could also lead to a tricky situation where there are more writers than there are people who opt-in to receiving written work.
