I feel this in my bones.

I wanted all of my characters to have a meaning or reference to their name and that was really easy when I had three characters in one story.

Now I have a bunch of stories and some of those characters are just gonna be named Dave because I don't have the time anymore.

I notice with a lot of "new gen" fandom people is they seem to have no idea what any of the terms they made up actually mean. "Proship" seems to have three different definitions depending on who I talk to.
