I have just one gripe with the film. I think they botched Defying Gravity with how over produced it was. A big part of that is including it in the trailer so we have had it shoved down our theatre loving throats 1000+ times over the past few months. Trailers need to chill with spoilers #Wicked

Speaking of Dancing Through Life, Jonathan Bailey. That's all. #Wicked

The amount of practical sets in this film was exactly what movies have been missing out on lately. The fact that the library set was fully functional and spinning during Dancing Through Life was perfection! #Wicked

Speaking of Loathing, the way they staged the number in the film was perfect for showing the passing of time which had a much larger pay off in the Oz Dust Ballroom scenes for the solidification of their friendship. #Wicked

The choreography in all of the musical numbers was incredible and rivals the detail that is in the numbers in the stage show. As we have seen all over social media, Loathing choreo was amazing and absolutely addicting #Wicked

I loved the way they expanded on Elphaba's childhood and showed us why she has such a passion for defending the animals of Oz. #Wicked

#OurLittleSecret was a fun watch! It hit all the feel good moments on the head. It is very funny and heartwarming and Lindsay Lohan sparring with Kristin Chenoweth is a delight

The original had powerhouse actors and a script that supported them. The actors here were not as powerful of a presence and the script was lacking the gravitas I expected.

While the first 30 minutes or so was pretty much the exact same story set up, after that it really starts to hit its stride. There is only so much you can do with historical fiction but they did a great job at keeping it fresh.
