We experimentally validate one those new restriction enzymes, showing it to be a BamHI isoschizomer, but having different methylation sensitivity.

Finally, we integrate a protein language model into Domainator to identify new restriction enzymes that are too divergent from reference sequences to be detectable by sequence searches.
