Just a guy who could probably use a nap
Also, has he heard of our outgoing mayor? If New Yorkers were going to flee the city, it would have happened during the comically incompetent and corrupt current administration

But also, getting your healthcare through your employer means you are also subsidized by the government since the value of the compensation you are receiving in the form of healthcare is not taxed as regular income.

I was at Game 7 in 2006. Crushing. My second would be Game 7 of the NLCS in 1988. 10 year old me could not handle that.

“I will soon introduce the Share Plan Act, which would provide a 3% corporate tax-rate reduction to companies that distribute at least 5% of their stock to the lowest-paid 80% of their employees.”

Wow. Clear and concise. Will definitely resonate with voters more than “Free childcare”

Probably cheating to say Harrison Ford in The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), but what about Ford in Raiders and Blade Runner (1982)?

I mean, yes, Republicans are monsters. But, it is also fair to point out that the Democratic Caucus is filled members who might literally die at any moment. We need every vote we can get and running for office while you have a reasonable expectation of not surviving your term is irresponsible.

Democrats can not look back at the last election, throw their hands up and say,”Well, things were out of our control and that’s why we lost.” While there were a number of negative contributors, it’s also true that Harris was a lousy candidate. Otherwise, she’d have fared better in the 2020 primary.

First thing that came to my kind was David Bowie’s Earthling. Then I remembered he released Blackstar almost 20 years after that.

I think McNeil will be fine, but Alvarez might not be amazing. I hope I’m wrong about Alvarez.

I was also going to flag Manhattan Special. I don’t know if it is available outside certain NYC neighborhoods, but it does the trick

One of the wonderful things about living in New York City is that despite having a police force the size of a moderate sized nation’s military, they are disinclined to enforce crimes like clearly fraudulent license plates. In fact, many cops obscure their personal plates to avoid tolls.

The U.S. hasn’t been out of Afghanistan for even 4 years and these clowns can’t wait to dive right back in. Unbelievable.

What if he’s got the wrong sports metaphor and Dem’s strategy amounts to letting the shooting guard go uncovered and raining down threes from the corner?

This tracks. I’ve been a registered Democrat my entire life and all it’s gotten me is the chance to hold my nose while I vote for people like Eric Adams and Kathy Hochul.

I think “kids” is maybe too broad a term here. Just keep your “15 year old” off social media is an impractical sentiment. Just keep your “6 year old” off social media seems pretty reasonable. I have no idea what to do about “10 year old” but, luckily, I have a few years to figure it out
