I think recruitment was the problem in terms of squad balance, no need for 3 attackers and not address CB and DM.
But my point is, even with a bigger squad he rarely rotates.
He didn't at Feynoord and still hasn't learned he needs to at LFC.
Dom being run ragged, so injury bound to be incoming!

I think part of the issue is even with more options, he doesn't rotate enough.
Seemingly keeps picking players who don't justify selection when fit, hungry players on bench.
We are too open yet Endo has had no minutes.
Chiesa and his energy not starting is also a crime for a floundering attack.

The issue is Wirtz in the 10 has taken Dom's natural position and so he is crow barring Dom in the team into positions that aren't natural which disrupts the midfield dynamic.
It's OK for the odd game but you need a starting Xl ideal.
Wirtz in Gakpo role would free up Kirkez imo.

Truth probably is no, as the depth players above rarely played.
The issue to me is type of player we signed.
Maybe more technical on paper but not quick pressers.
Coupled with poor form from Salah and Mac who were integral last year.
And Slot for changing system to accommodate Wirtz

We have bought 2 x 100m+ players that were brilliant for their teams and system but don't match our needs or system.
Gakpo starting every game also hurts press plus kerkez as he never passes on overlap, whereas Diaz did.
Plus we have lost Diaz Jota and Darwin who were pressing monsters.

He is running Dom into the ground at present. He's been one of the few highlights but never rests him.
Even when were up in games he moves him to RB.
Imagine had we not wasted money on Wirtz and Isak we could have got another CB and Wharton type midfielder.
