Disrespecting and acting as though trans people are not who they say they are.

But at this point im stopping back as you won't even acknowlwdge the hate and suffering your actions bring.

Gender is the social construct that applies to society overall, gender identity is the personal understanding of that concept. I fail to see how this changes my point.

Then why do you support views that bolster those who do those things? Delegitmizing trans folks helps people who do those things to hurt them.

Hell, if they started yelling at you and pressuring you towards changing yourself, scaring you?

Folks who don't respect trans rights spread hate and make folks suffer, all for what? Because you believe that people should conform themselves to societal expectations despite what makes them happy?

So how would you feel if a whole bunch of people decided you were wrong about your gender and started using different pronouns for you, commenting that your name, clothing, mannerisms, behavior are unfitting for you despite them being what you prefer?

I've already offered up a non offensive solution earlier to this. I must ask however, why don't you respect trans people? Would you not respect any other person changing the name they're called by, whether by regular choice or marriage or other such things?

I think you've confused yourself. I said gender and gendered pronouns are social constructs originally based on sexual characteristics. I say originally because there have been more than two genders in multiple societies throughout history showing separation from sexual dimorphism and features.

I'm adressing what was said in the article you posted. If you're not willing to partake in a conversation of whats been said, falling to abstract accusations, then good day and may you learn compassion for trans folks and others and not sow hate.

Theres no actual evidence for an increase in LGBTQ+ folks grooming anyone, only an increase in phobic family members being pissed that someone exists as themselves.

That presumes sex must equal gender, when gender is a social construct based on sex. char., that men are all sex predators when anyone can be sex predators, presumes trans men, women, and enbies must be groomers, reinforces physical stereotypes of genders, and acts like people cant learn or change.
