Well it looks like I'm probably never going to get my art account back on Twitter, because I've apparently committed "multiple or repeat violations" of their rules (even though I haven't). Good fucking riddance I guess, I really only use Twitter anymore for the private accounts feature

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I have many thoughts on some of the trends happening in this community that were brought up in Finn's most recent video.
![Part one: Oh I have so many thoughts on this, especially as a disabled person and someone who will always, permanently be unhealthy. First off, it goes without saying that getting in shape is always going to be great for you, and it's something that should be encouraged for the betterment of everyone's health. There's nothing to lose when it comes to taking care of yourself, and it's a set of skills that everyone should be learning, especially nowadays when unhealthy behaviours are so easy to slip into. That being said, there are a group of us where 'getting into shape' is pretty unobtainable due to preexisting medical conditions that can make it hard, or even dangerous, to work out. I personally have a condition called Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which includes the hallmark symptom known as 'post-exertional malaise,' basically translating to 'a worsening of the illness after physical or mental activity.' This means that 'working out' in the traditional sense is dangerous for me, as I can experience worse pain, fatigue, and brain fog afterwards that can leave me in bed for days or weeks afterwards. With that in mind, I can't help but to feel a little singled out by trends like 'Getting hot for [X con],' or even that one Twitter trend where furries were posting themselves in-suit, followed by images of themselves showing off their bodies and saying 'You can do both.' There's nothing inherently wrong with showing off your body, but I do worry that some of these trends tend to lean into modern beauty conventions that are already highly unobtainable and even rooted in many forms of bigotry. Ala 'if you aren't thin, white, cisgender and ablebodied, then you're not seen as attractive by greater society.' Every day I think about how the first fursona was invented by a black man and I feel so blessed to be part of a community whose pillars include queer people and BIPOC. I'd be so lost without the furry community and I owe it's cultural founders literally everything.
