As much as I would love to see humanity liberated from religion , I honestly don’t think some people are capable of the responsibility that comes with self governing without the idea of an all knowing all seeing deity.
I don’t trust most people to be good just for goodness sake .

I hope people in the US know they're going to be alright. They'll be irritated by stupid decisions that will be made, some with disastrous effects but at the end of the day, they will be fine.
