Im missing the colour of the woodland right now. I don’t normally feel this way in the winter but for some reason this year’s different. I guess it’s the usual peaks and troughs of a photographer and inspiration will return soon I’m sure.

When visiting the Brecon Beacons, you can’t help but be in awe when standing alongside some of the most epic waterfall we have here in the UK, and even though I came away from my last trip with some photos I really like, it was this one that stuck in my mind as I drove home. 1/2

Looking back at a few photos I took one morning in London in September ‘23. Facing straight towards the rising sun while standing on London Bridge waiting for the optimum moment. That’s when this Clipper appeared from under the bridge. Perfect.

Some late summer greens taken on a misty morning at my local forest.

I feel some credit is in order as you have clearly been inspired by my Apple Watch face design 🤣🤣🤣

Seriously. Lovely image mate. So clean.

Flow. A few selected from a series I made while wandering along the river and photographing the cascades in Wales.

A few from a late autumn trip to Waterfall Country. Most of the leaves had fallen but I still managed to come away with a few photos Im happy with.

I posted more photos on a blog post documenting the trip over on my website. Link in bio.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Standing down the hill from this tree, I liked the way the tree was casting a silhouette in front of the brighter but cloudy sky and although it looks to be a standard black and white photo, this is in fact a colour photo. The light and conditions seems to have sucked the colour out of the image.

Looking back to late spring and a trip to the slate quarries in Wales.

I love how the colours work together with vivid spring greens and the grey slate walls, not to mention that stunning turquoise water.

Projects have become a huge part of what motivates me to pick up and head out with my camera. I have projects that include the natural and urban landscape.

Here are 4 photos from a project I call Timeless City. A black and white study of London.

Still a favourite photo of mine taken on late September morning at my local forest. With some subtle light falling on the tree, it momentarily appeared out from the misty landscape, just long enough for me to make the image.

Just a branch? Maybe. It’s also a year long photography project where I’ve been photographing it throughout changing seasons. It’s not quite turned yet but I hope to have an autumn edition soon.

This is a photo I took back in December 2023. It was taken during what turned out to be a rare interlude between the persistent wind and rain we were having at the time.
