Great to hear! Dad never spoke of what he did but I've done a fair bit of research at Kew etc. If you feel anything may be of use, let me know. I think the photo was taken after Arakan and before NCAC. I know those eyes and they are very tired. More power to you and best of luck with the pod.

Great to hear mention of 36 Division in the pod. Dad was in the 10th Glosters, part of 36, and fought in the tunnel area. They then went to Shilong in Assam before flying into Myitkyina on July 10th. Then fought down the railway corridor. Dad's last action was the opposed river crossing at Myitson

Sounds a good plan to me. Not unlike TVs Morse/Endeavour. Bond is almost a national institution but it’s getting tired now.
