MIN Rayne Doncon is a 2025 breakout candidate for me. Above average power and coming off a season here he posted his best walk numbers of his career. His approach is very pull heavy, though. He’ll be 21 for all of the 2025 season. There’s a lot to like.

Really have enjoyed digging into ARI SS Demetrio Crisantes. Coming off a year where he hit .333 with 6 HR and 20 SB as a 19-year-old in Single-A. Love his approach at the plate. Good contact skills and can spray the ball. Doesn’t seem like a ton of power, but love the hit tool.

CHC 2023 6th round pick Alfonsin Rosario is a really fun player. Big time power potential and speed. Aggressive, pull focused approach. 32% K rate in Single-A, but I didn’t see much chasing, as that number would imply. Very raw, but the 20-year-old has lots of upside.

One player I really like from the 2024 draft is CWS 5th round pick Sam Antonacci. Saw him as a prep and he looked special then. Really good bat to ball skills and feel for the zone. Gap power, but he can run.
