BWS's run on Conan along with Roy Thomas is just perfect. And of that short-ish run, The Tower Of The Elephant and Rogues In The House are standout winners, closely followed by Red Nails.

I agree that fixing the bands means the overall proportion of tax increases as income increases. I get angry when people on TV simply state that fixing the bands means we pay more tax. That only happens if either the bands are reduced, or we earn more.

No they're not. They are paying exactly the same tax as they were before the budget. As the bands haven't changed, people only pay more income tax if their income correspondingly increases. Your example is hypothetical and therefore can be disregarded. I usually agree with you but not in this case.
