Well both Larson and Gragson would most likely still be in those. If their criteria is cup driver that has at least a full season of Nextgen experience and can also put together full sentences on live television your options are: LaJoie, Hemric, Burton, and maybe BJ McLeod. Who ya got?

I honestly didn't know the bar to be a TV analyst for 5 races was this high. Not in the booth at a desk. He's run every nextgen race and has a podcast. I think that's good enough. You want BJ McLeod in there? I can get behind that he'd be pretty awesome.

I get that you think he's bad but I also don't see any solutions there. I'm not saying he should replace Bowman I'm saying as a decent pick for a TV analyst based on driving/media experience.

Who else has the Nextgen driving experience and has some level of polish on the mic currently? Burton will be busy with Xfinity and Truex will be leaving Daytona and wandering into the woods until he's put in the Hall of Fame.
