That makes sense. Just now seeing the part where you mentioned that they didn't end up taking her 4 miles out (would that've been "far enough" for a possible RDD?). Just trying to make sense of the decision to tow.

How do you feel this compares to what they'd be doing if there was an RDD aboard? Feels like most of this points towards hazardous explosives or radioactivity. I saw a few of the port calls point towards radioactive materials (Tokai, La Hague), but the more modest call seems to be lithium batteries.
