A recent chat with a friend helped me finally find the words to describe the biggest difference between our boys and how that difference impacted their relationships with us:
Teagan never knew he was a dog. And Rygel had no idea Rafael and I are human. 💙🐾💙

We visited some friends last night who added recently departed pups from the friend group on their Dia de los Muertos ofrenda. Rafael and I were very touched to see Rygel included 💙🐾💙

I’d say rest in peace, but that wasn’t your style. So give them hell, Rygel. As only you can. I will miss you every day until I join you. Thank you for taking such good care of your daddy and papi. And be nice to Teagan. I love you, son. 💙🐾
