Damn maybe they'll hold out for a full round of voting if we are lucky! They're always so competent and have the peoples best interest in mind. That's why I trust them 100%. Anyways, time to die in the streets I guess.

I can't believe you'd come on here and brag about not knowing what wikifeet is

Good candidates aren't boring. Part of politics is being elected. I only bring it up because the Democrats seem to think they're above this.

I used to fall into this "um actually", but it's just so dumb. It's perfectly reasonable to shorted a long country name to the first of last word. The only thing you can be annoyed with is calling the country USA at all, which is pretty uncharitable imo

In new versions he fights the cia

I mean I disagree that that was the point. Like I said I don't use AI and I think in a lot of cases it's use is unethical. I was specifically talking about the environmental guilt tripping/purity testing.

I didn't say you do no damage by wasting energy, I'm saying guilting individuals for a miniscule waste is ridiculous when things like climate change aren't the fault of the people as far as numbers go. I think people should waste little from a moral standpoint.
January 10, 2025 at 1:25 AM
I want to add that their goal is to make you feel guilty about your use and focus on minimizing it. Of course spend effort to minimize your waste, but don't forget that your effort is best used on stopping them, not dwelling on yourself/the energy it takes to generate some portrait with 6 fingers.

Kind of. There's been a systemic push to blame individuals for pollution when it comes predominately from industry. Your example is especially salient because it reminds me of the push for recycling. We were told we just had to throw away trash better. Of course you also used an extreme example

I don't really use AI but this has the same vibe as the "carbon footprint" talk from years ago. Giving ourselves the blame when industry does most of the damage. Maybe I'm wrong and individuals' Ai energy use is really huge actually?
