Trudeau: I want to speak first directly to the American people… your government has chosen to do this to you. Your government has chosen to put American jobs at risk. They have chosen to raise costs for American consumers on everyday essential items…

Overwhelmed? Totally understandable.

Take a breath. Recall your values.

Based on those values—what can you individually be responsible for in this moment? What are you accountable for in relationship to our collective liberation?

It's not a demolition site it's a mass grave. It's not a demolition site it's a crime scene. It's not a demolition site its a homeland. It's not a demolition site it's Palestine. It's not a demolition site it's a genocide.
Trump, with Netanyahu sitting next to him, says "Gaza maybe is a demolition site right now ... you can't live in Gaza right now. I think we need another location."

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

“Words that slander and strip people of their voices and humanity are often a first step toward discriminatory and violent policies. At its most extreme, speaking of people as dirty and polluting and saying they lack humanity makes it easier to kill them.”

‘Aliens’ and ‘animals’ – language of hate used by Trump and others can be part of a violent design
Hateful language used to demonize particular groups of people had been used long before the era of Donald Trump, including by the Nazis.

1/19 People’s March in Indy - after the crowd had dispersed.

Absolutely crucial for us to stand in solidarity together and continue building diverse coalitions of mutual support.

A *charitable* interp of Musk’s salute is that he was sending his heart out to the crowd.

1-After all his rightwinging, Musk has no right to charity.

2-He has never given others the benefit of the doubt.

3-If he’s as smart as he claims, then he knows damn well how to dog-whistle w/ his hands.
