I think the benefit is probably more the vector change, not the increased energy.

I think the general idea is good (tho we add in echos for get a feel for recovery). Big limitation is that it doesn’t really account for an increased metabolic demand, so they might be “ready” to come off at that time, but they don’t have the reserve to handle a new (ex) septic event, etc
