I’ve talked with my therapist about it and I don’t remember what type of ADHD she thought I had. From what I’ve learned about it in the psychology classes I’ve taken I think I have the mixed type of ADHD. I also think I have autism but I don’t want to say I have something without getting diagnosed.

I’ll be 22 June. I’ve brought it up to my therapist a couple times but they can’t diagnose people on campus so I would have to find somewhere to go that takes my insurance. I just worry that they wouldn’t take me seriously since I make good grades in school even though I struggle with some things.

I’ve talked about it with my therapist on campus but I don’t think my family would be supportive of me getting a diagnosis.

I was 18 in my first semester of college. I might’ve realized sooner if I wasn’t raised in a strict Catholic household and Catholic private schools. I vaguely remember trying to make potions as a kid though.

I’m currently reading Norse Mythology: Tales of the gods, sagas and heroes by Abbie Farewell Brown, Sarah Powers Brandish, Mary Litchfield, and others. I have a few other books that I haven’t gotten to yet but I’m enjoying it so far!
