Tribalism is an inevitable part of human nature so we can’t eliminate it (nor should we). But we can harness it by creating tribes for truth-seeking, tribes that embrace the norms of critical thinking.

For me, this is generally the whole ball game. Our tribes not only influence how we evaluate evidence (fake or real), they influence the information we seek and even how we perceive events.
