I see Apple Maps copied Google’s answer on its homework by also misspelling Mexico. Because of this, I have gone in and corrected the spelling for Apple. Do better, Apple!

I see that Google spelled Mexico wrong on Google Maps, so I corrected it for them. You’re welcome, Google! Do better!

Is it just me or does Steven Cheung, White House Communications Director, look like a sumo wrestling incel?

What a ridiculous and childish response, but then again, this is to be expected from Trump sycophants and lackeys.

Over the years I have said that some of the most devout followers of the teachings of Christ are atheists, not conservative Evangelical Christians.
"One of the great tragedies of mankind is that morality has been hijacked by religion. So now people assume that religion and morality have a necessary connection. But the basis of morality is really very simple and doesn't require religion at all."

For fuck’s sake. We’re an even larger producer of energy than we were under Trump 1.0, and it hasn’t brought prices down.

Really, apples in a refrigerator at a supermarket? The only thing I agree with is that food shouldn’t be unaffordable in the US. This is not the guy, or party, that will fix it.
Ah, apples in the refrigerator at the supermarket
Trump: I tell the story about a woman who… went to a grocery store, had three apples and she put them down on the counter and she looked and saw the price and she said will you excuse me? And she walked one of the apples back to the refrigerator

Apparently the Universe is sending billions of drones to spy on the US—we would see so many more of them if it weren’t for light pollution. (I wish I could muster more sarcasm than this.)

This level of ignorance should be embarrassing, but it’s something worn as a badge of honor by the MAGA GOP.
Simply incredible

This is the epitome of moral bankruptcy in a society that worships the golden calf of modern American Gilded Age. We are all living in a new version of indentured servitude, trapped in a cycle of debt and sickness all to ensure the power and wealth of the top 1%, and especially the top .01%.
I can hardly think of a better example of the moral decay in modern health care than a Goldman analyst noting that biotech cures for diseases like hepatitis are cool and all, until their success diminishes the business opportunity for pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Elon = meat sack of evil
Elon Musk is now calling on Republicans to shut down the government until Trump takes office — and many are jumping at the opportunity to please their unelected billionaire overlord.

They want the general population to remain utterly ignorant so they will vote against their rights every damn time, as well as fall prey to scapegoating anyone who is different. Add conservative evangelicalism to the mix and the ignorance deepens exponentially to the detriment of all.
Everything... I repeat - EVERYTHING- boils down to eduction.

Tommy Tuberville needs to follow his coaching path of old. He has lied to his Alabama constituents, just as he lied to Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas Tech, and the University of Cincinnati, and up and quit his Senate seat. It’s obvious he is a complete know-nothing and conspiracy stooge.
Tommy got his Putin talking points scrambled.

Justices should not have lifetime tenure, period. The Robert’s court has certainly shown the need to add expiration dates for Justices. It also doesn’t even begin to touch on the issue of the gargantuan ethical lapses of at least two, possibly even more, Justices.
The United States is an outlier when it comes to how long Supreme Court justices serve. That doesn’t translate into greater judicial independence, but it does increase the risk for a politically one-sided high court.
Life Tenure for U.S. Supreme Court Justices Is a Global Oddity with Clear Costs
Compared to other democracies, the United States is an outlier in granting life tenure to justices, producing diminishing returns and mounting costs.
