3: Uncaged

It's an anthology of adventures written by women, which take female enemies, and gives them the depth they deserved all along.
It will give you a new appreciation for monsters you might have skipped over before, from medusas and mariliths, all the way to Llolth, Blibdoolpoolp, etc...

2: The Armorer's Handbook, by Heavyarms

What this crafting supplement does is that it turns players' gear into long-term projects: they'll spend the entire campaign ...and thousands of golds, improving it.
I've used this supplement for over 4 years now, and I will basically never run D&D without it

1: Home-Field Advantage, by... ME! :D

It's a 240-page CHONKER of a book, which gives Lair Actions to basically every single 5e monster that could realistically build themselves a lair.
The lair actions are designed to keep your boss fights fresh by giving your players problems to solve

@dmsguild.com has put out a Humble Bundle for the first time ever!
For just over 20 bucks, you can get $270 worth of D&D books - that's over 90% off, on some of the greatest third party supplement 5e has ever seen!

Here are my top 3 recommendations for you to check out from the bundle (🧵 )

What I think is the most important takeaway from my Daggerheart review

Whenever I want to try a big mechanics change in Flare Fall, I create a 1-5 page RPG to test the change in isolation

Sooo enjoy this 4-page version of Flare Fall, with its upcoming "cascade" style action economy :p

Last year I made a free 2-page RPG focused on "cinematic" combat where the bad guys create a problem and the good guys scramble to find a solution

Ran a single playtest of it, it was good fun!

Background-colored arrows

This works real nice I think 👍

Since those are small changes they're pretty easy for me to preview

With white lines:
And with smaller, white arrows (just to see if that'd work):

v2

I don't really have a good way to add more colors (not exactly a graphic designer over here, I just put together good looking assets and fool people into thinking my books look good), but I think the main issue was differentiating between what the boxes represent

I'm trying a flowchart-style layout for the locations in my game's starter adventure.
People who regularly run TTRPG modules, I need a vibe check on this - does this look easy to use?

The 🔎 icon means info the player can get for free if they search. The square icons mean checks.

Just caught covid in the middle of editing my next video :x
So huh... You guys will still care about Arcane in a week or two, right? Because I would really appreciate if you did 😅

Anyway here's a teaser

As for the undead spirit, there's two versions, the ghostly and the putrid forms. The ghostly form can fly but it's the putrid form that can paralyze.

They still exist, only work for saving throws, and apparently they're being used even more.

Here's a dragon stat block they teased at a con a couple months back, which has 4 legendary resistances instead of just 3.

I'm waiting for Arc 3 with baited breath (so I can maybe give Ekko his own stat block maybe let's all pray our boi is back with spooky time powers)

These are all "moderate difficulty" encounters according to the 2024 DMG
According to the 2014 DMG, they would be respectively "medium", "deadly", and "deadly"

So, it's not like what we had was very good, but this is a step back imo
