Don’t let its strange beauty fool you; this flower REEKS! 💀🌺

This corpse flower (Amorphophallus titanum) is one of the largest flowers in the world. Much like the other corpse flower (Rafflesia arnoldii), they use distinct red colors and pungent smells to attract flies, their main pollinator!

Welwitschia is a gymnosperm (cone-producing, non-flowering) that grows two leaves—and only two leaves—that grow continuously. These plants can live for thousands of years so those leaves can grow several meters long under the right conditions!
