Samus should always be the main character both narratively and mechanically, and this "obviously gonna have a becomes more capable character arc" loser bodes ill for how Metroid Prime 4 is gonna handle her.

Metroid has always went back and forth about Samus talking but she was always a defined character with her own history and thoughts. Making a bunch of by the numbers chatty human npcs and having her (from what i've seen) be completely silent and unresponsive is the worst of both worlds.

the halo comparison was at the tip of my tongue...
idk why they don't just make them fellow bounty hunters like the corruption trio. we got sylux who was one such hunter of several. that's way more interesting both for the plot and samus.

had to check if prime 4 was out yet but is this about sylus cause iirc their hunters bio states that they hate the federation sooo i'm guessing that'll be a main thing in prime 4?
