As an auDHD anthropologist, that last one is so on point to me. I've long thought that being/growing up neurodivergent is akin to participant observation in another culture.

I know this is going to make a lot of people uncomfortable but I'd invite them to sit with it.

There was a moment where the science pointed one way and we as a society said, fuck it, we're going the other way.

And then everyone just pretended that science agreed.
