During the 2023-2024 program year, 2,200+ youth were served by the [Treehouse] Store. We also saw a 37% increase in online orders and over 100,000+ items in total were distributed to youth and young people in foster care across Washington state.

Did you know? Youth in foster care often have to leave belongings behind during moves. At Treehouse, we believe every young person deserves to feel confident and prepared. That's why the Treehouse Store provides youth in foster care with access to high quality clothing.

Windermere Foundation, which has been awarding grants to Treehouse since 1999, provided a grant for the Just-in-Time Funding program recently. We were also one of three nonprofits selected to be the beneficiary of their Comedy for a Cause event in early December.

Having the ability to drive can open up a realm of opportunities for youth in care–getting and keeping a job, managing family responsibilities, and attending school without reliance on public transportation, caregivers, or friends.
