36 years ago today, Liverpool supporters were looking forward to the FA Cup semifinal. 97 of them never came back home.

Today, as on every 15th of April, my thoughts are with the 97 and their friends and families.

May we see justice one day.

Sounds annoying, but better than nothing! We've kind of gone the opposite way with some public transport connections. Highlight is the tram stop in front of Parliament, there's literally another one at the town hall a minute away.

Here's a map of our network without the trams and busses:

My year 5 art teacher told me she had never seen a more untalented student. I kind of stopped caring about art after that.
Fast forward 24 years, I am on maternity leave and decide to watch drawing tutorials on YouTube, and this is the first day of many. :)

A new addition to The Christmas Baking Plans: Eisenbahner ("railway biscuits", because they look like train tracks). Buttery biscuits with marzipan and glazed with apricot and apple jam.

This is me going all out on seasonal decorations. 🎄

A great way to repurpose a church - use it for functions and concerts.
Throughly enjoyable evening at La Chapelle de la Trinité, Lyon.
A crowd of people in formal dress (suits, suit jackets and a few dresses) are gathered in a church interior (made obvious by a Jesus statue on the balcony overlooking the attendants), chatting. The church has three stained glass windows and is lit by several lanterns. The predominant colour of the walls is a reddish brown.

This is not just 'me' vibes because I had glasses for a quarter of a century, and, as my mum would tell you, they need cleaning frequently. This is also 'me' because I am, like Jack, capable of concentrating very intently when I need to and good at staying calm under pressure.
