One of my favourite parts of fantasy world-building has got to be making up idioms and curse words/phrases unique and specific to the cultures in my story. Even more so when I need to do it in conlang! (totally not a way to distract myself from actual writing/editing 😂)

I'd read someone's fever-dream of a 1st novel any day over an AI book that reads like the hideous amalgam of peppy corporate PR. #booksky
