The other really cool thing about this project is I get to share it with my dad. He is from Doddridge and a history buff. So not only is he a great resource, but it’s a pretty neat bonding opportunity 😊💙
I don't want to jinx anything, but I am feeling so happy and hopeful about my switch to the Public History MA program. I am working on a project that has me truly excited—about my home county of Doddridge. So many interesting, not widely known stories. Onward!

Anytime I say "Guys, I've got some terrible news", you can rest assured that what comes out of my mouth next is going to be a goof, an unserious piece of "news", or some sort of exaggeration of a small potatoes incident.
