"The COP process has become a theatre of contradiction. Recent summits have been hosted by petrostates and financed by polluters. Fossil fuel lobbyists attended COP28 and 29 in greater numbers — 2,456 at COP28 and 1,800 at COP29 — than many national delegations."

Thank you all so much for participating in our Food Bank fundraiser on Sunday at Notional Space. None of it would have been possible without the gift of a beautiful performance space. We set a total of $2000 and made $2400 - and there may be a few more donations to come yet.

It must be 30 years or more since I last worked in the studio with this guy. Had a great day with Jim Kwan at Creativ in North Vancouver. Looking forward to hearing the final results and to more days like this ahead!

There can be surely be no better place to shelter from the sun. The weeping willow gives you both cool, cool shade and a darkly comforting sense of melancholy!

Here's an East Vancouver washroom exterior and interior. Two questions. 1. Where is it? 2. Why does it look bigger on the inside than it does from the outside? Answers on a postcard to the usual address. First prize, a night out with me. Second prize, two nights.

Thanks to the great folks at VFSS for having me as their featured act tonight. Everybody sang along - even though all the songs were about or from the North East of England and in dialect. You all did brilliantly and I had a blast!
