I watched a very dedicated parent at my kids Berkeley school try to green a playground for years. Many community meetings, so much red tape, even got some asphalt torn up and replaced with trees and…over a summer, without notice, the facilities dept tore it out and replaced with asphalt again

If you believe big parts of your job will be automated in the future, the response should not be fighting automation. It should either be learning to drive automation or it should be finding a different industry.
