Trans Rights Commission Toronto is a grassroots advocacy organization fighting for the rights of trans people to live a safe, dignified life free from oppressive gender-based structures in Toronto and throughout Canada.
We had a very productive town hall attended by dozens of participants today with discussions about anti-trans extremism around the world and how we can prevent it from making its way into Toronto.
We also announced our new campaign to make legal name changes free for trans people!

Our counterprotest demonstration earlier today against a hate rally calling for healthcare to be forcibly withheld from trans kids was attended by almost 100 participants.
The hate rally ended without meaningful impact. We built the connections necessary to safeguard trans rights for years to come.
