Why screw a piece of wood over a window? Because the person who designed this room put 7 windows, a fireplace, and a door. Wall space is a problem. I fixed it. I thought it would just be useful for my warping board. I realized last night it would work as a warping valet too. So excited! #weaving

First attempt on my floor loom. Only one threading error, not sure if my fix is actually how it’s supposed to be done but it’s just a sample so I’m comfortable winging it. #weaving

No idea what the overall plan is, but it is off the loom and I am fairly happy with it. #weaving I am thinking of making additional panels and trying to sew them together for a throw. But I’m not sure if they would all be houndstooth because I’m pretty sure I’d fail at getting it all to line up.

Because weaving seemed like a good hobby to pick up. At least this new hobby will not break any limbs. #weaving

I’d like to be back on a cruise! Instead I’m in the land of grey skies and 46 degrees … which for December is pretty balmy so I shouldn’t complain. But I will.
