The importance of youth centres in reducing crime is so well supported by so much evidence. They should be an absolute no-brainer.

Is this because you are American & fear you wouldn't get back in to the states?

The school and the parents had a joint responsibility to set up communications to support the SEN child. It seems pretty mental that the police became involved, particularly for messages in private chat groups. I wonder what the parents had done that caused the school to ban them from the premises?
