Protesters gathered at Wichita State University Monday during an appearance by Kansas senator Jerry Moran. Moran entered and exited by car through a garage entrance, causing the protesters to push signs up against windows of the building when Moran entered.

A table has been set up at Wichita's Eisenhower Airport for people to leave flowers and messages of condolence for the victims of American Airlines flight 5342.

Somehow I doubled my followers today. So that's nice. Also, a beautiful snow fell across southern Kansas today, and I feel like sharing because we're seeing a lot of terrible images out of CA and like most, I feel a little helpless. So here's a reminder of the tranquility that's still out there.

Day 25 of sharing my favorite photos of 2024: I was asked during a speech in April what my bucket list thing to photograph was and my answer was the Northern Lights. In less than a month, on May 10th, it happened. 3 times I saw the aurora this year. But this was the first. #aurora #northernlights
