Americans should fight capitalism by starting a third party representing the working class. A labor party, if you will. But how would we keep our labor party from turning into an evil labour party? Clearly we will need to resist adding the extra ‘u’ if the working class is to prevail!

I need political leaders who can talk about racism while building powerful organizations and systems that empower regular people. If the primary focus is talking instead of organizing and building an infrastructure of resistance, then we can just vote for the same Dems that we already have.
November 15, 2025 at 6:01 PM
It’s not the cause. The Democrats don’t want working people to get ahead because their wealthy donors don’t want that. Regular people need to find common cause and push back. What do most people have in common?
November 15, 2025 at 9:33 AM
The best argument I’ve heard for avoiding “identity politics” is that Democrats aren’t strengthening unions, fighting for social services, transferring money away from militarized police, etc. Basically, the argument is that elevating the working class elevates all oppressed peoples.

PaperclipAI: “Must turn all available mass in the universe into paperclips. Boolean statistical analysis results indicate optimal start to process: attacks on possible barriers to creation of data centers. Mocking of progressives on social media…in progress.”
November 12, 2025 at 6:05 PM
No. That’s why I’m concerned that Dem leadership is weak.
November 12, 2025 at 5:02 PM
You brought up the blue wave, not me. He should be a role model for how to run a successful campaign to secure a powerful position. Republicans and sell out centrists like you hate his guts because he might actually improve the lives of working class people. He makes you guys look weak.
November 12, 2025 at 5:00 PM
You guys can’t think of a single reason why progressives hate Fetterman now? Were you guys big fans of Sinema too?
November 12, 2025 at 4:54 PM
We just fought a big battle to secure funding for disability services in Arizona. People whose lives will be ruined unless basic social services are protected would be ideal politicians in my opinion. They can’t afford to quit until progress is made.
November 12, 2025 at 4:48 PM
You went from bragging about a blue wave to attacking a popular Democrat who is laser focused on kitchen table issues in a hurry. Are you sure you’re not a closeted Republican? You seem to hate the same people they hate.
November 12, 2025 at 4:40 PM
That’s not a good thing. It means we could be going through this whole process again.

Dems: “We demand protections for (benefit)!”

MAGAs: “We will enact protections for (benefit), but only if all of your constituents eat a bag of dicks.“

Dems: “Good news everybody! Nobody has to eat dicks!”
November 12, 2025 at 4:32 PM
It’s a two party system, even socialists vote for Democrats because they are demonstrably less awful than Republicans. Which one of the newly elected Dems publicly supports the deal that was made to reopen the government? Was it Mamdani?
November 12, 2025 at 4:23 PM
The abortion ban was demanded in exchange for funding healthcare, dipshit! The Democrats got fucking played! You are wrong about basic things and you’re so goddamn arrogant about it!
November 12, 2025 at 3:23 PM
Also, why are you attacking someone for trying to explain their point of view? I’m not the minority opinion on this issue, most of the country blamed Republicans for the shutdown and most of the country wants Democrats to fight them.
November 12, 2025 at 3:04 PM
They said they were fighting for healthcare and they walked away from the shutdown with nothing but a promise that Republicans will vote on the issue. Are you saying that their real goal was to fund SNAP benefits for a year?
November 12, 2025 at 2:56 PM
The government shut down hurt a bunch of people and didn’t accomplish anything besides showing that Democrats are weak. SNAP benefits can be taken away in the future and a budget will be passed that takes away people’s healthcare. Democrats are incredibly unpopular. You should find out why.
November 12, 2025 at 2:44 PM
No, it’s not. Republicans can still take away SNAP benefits later and will be passing a budget that takes away healthcare now that the Democrats caved in. What’s disrespectful is you failing to learn basic facts about why the Democrats are so unpopular right now.
November 12, 2025 at 2:36 PM
And you becoming hostile towards the doctor represents me becoming hostile towards the Democrat politicians who act like they will fight authoritarianism, but in reality just undermine any serious threats to the system that supports authoritarianism.
November 12, 2025 at 2:21 PM
Stopping chemo to allow cancer to spread is Democrats consistently failing to resist authoritarians in ways that conform to the interests of their wealthy donors, such as 8 Democrats who sided with Republicans all having received campaign donations from airlines (shut down screwed up air travel)…
November 12, 2025 at 2:06 PM
For folks who find metaphors confusing: In this story the Doctor is the Democrats, the cancer represents wealthy authoritarians and their harmful actions, paying for med school is campaign contributions from wealthy authoritarians, chemo is attempt to resist authoritarians (such as gov shutdown)…
November 12, 2025 at 2:02 PM
You somehow find yourself hating the man who, “tried to save you” even more than the tumor that tortures you until you eventually die from a variety of life sustaining processes shutting down.
November 12, 2025 at 9:28 AM
Then you find out that the doctor’s med school tuition was paid for by your cancerous tumor. The doctor was never trying to treat your cancer…he was keeping you distracted by his bumbling long enough for your cancer to consume you.
November 12, 2025 at 9:24 AM
If a doctor had you in chemotherapy for a month and a half, got scared because the chemo was making you feel sick and lose your hair, stopped therapy, and then your cancer came roaring back, you might question their decision making skills, attempt to find a better doctor, trash them online, etc.
November 12, 2025 at 9:12 AM
Very charitable of you to assume that the 8 capitulating Democrats were trying to prevent suffering. A more cynical view would be that they caved in to appease their wealthy donors.
