Via Volcan: six people who want to go to Panama, three people who have been to Panama, and one desperately confused Starbucks regular who can't get a cold foam drink and is wondering what the hell is Geisha coffee.

We have truly seen it all here.

someone once tried to warm up apple cider by pouring it into the electric kettle.

or when someone put the catering box of Starbucks coffee into the microwave. The interior of the box is lined with foil ⚡

I left out an important detail! @ajv.bsky.social and @jenvestal.bsky.social made Spiedies, I marinated kebab type dish from my home county in Upstate NY.

And they totally nailed the flavor and texture. Truly delicious

lol!

@alexgoyette.bsky.social In the rest of the alien franchise, the corporations that control everything are a distant malevolence whose presence is felt indirectly through their agents.

Alien: Earth is really more about bringing the corporations to the fore, with some monsters salted in.

I think giving it half of your attention is a great idea.

The sets, props and monsters are AWESOME.

The story itself is a touch predictable when it's not making puzzling ex machina choices.

I completely agree with this synopsis. Pushed through to see where it was going, turns out I was waiting for Godot

If someone made eye contact while displaying a forced smile and mainlining a pack of deli meat, I might well just nope out
