I think part of it mainly stems from the fact I just can't feasibly afford most of them, making the whole 'cheaper than Transformers' thing kind of moot.

(For context, not only are these more expensive in the Philippines, I operate on a strict budget as well.)

My main exposure to the Plasmaverse as it was called were the Darkwood Ambush (where some of its parts were lost to time), and the two Plasma Tech figures I got (those were also lost to time).

Kamen Rider Gavv: Invaders of the House of Snacks

And we formally close 2025 in Toku with Gavv's Summer Movie.

Alternate universe stories are always a treat to see, and this one is no different.

Ultraman Final

And we wrap up Netflix Ultraman with the final season. It's a definite improvement over Season 2, but it still diverges from the manga.

Rena gets her time to shine here as well. And part of me wants to see Valcure in other Ultraman media.

Tokusou Robo Janperson

My last Toku show of this year is, fittingly enough, my first Metal Hero show. And it's none other than Janperson.

It's a very charming little show, I'd say.

Ultraman Nexus

Nexus stands out to me as being a show that never got to reach its full potential, especially with how it got cut short.

But in the the midst of its dark atmosphere, like with so many Ultraman shows, it is ultimately a story about hope.

Dekaranger 20th: Fireball Booster

This one is pretty much business as usual for the Dekarangers, and that's not a bad thing per se.

Also, Premier DekaRed is pretty cool.
