I went back in and added a bit more fine tip black marker around details and some depth to the carved holes, probably a couple of other little things.

This one was mostly unplanned and the perspective on the cottage as well as the fence shadows show it but it was enjoyable, especially fixing the many errors that I was able to repair.

This was a pure practice piece which means I of course messed up the buoy but overall fairly happy with this. I may re-do it on better paper so the edges blend better and I can correct the buoy.

Practice of the day:
Ogres are like onions, they have layers! This piece was inspired by that thought - layers and complimentary colours were used to create some depth. All painting done with flat brushes, black ink with a brush tip pen.

Going for a chunky webtoon-ish style, this guy can be pretty easily animated as well since I built him in layers with a separated background.
